Part deep tissue bodywork, part passive stretching, part yoga-style assists, part joint traction, part twisting, part intentional and progressive compression, part plucking and sheering and smashing, part fire cupping and scraping (similar to the Graston Technique) and hammering, part sports massage, part manual therapy — all while fully clothed, on a mat on the floor, while the therapist uses her hands, feet, elbows, knees, body weight, and traditional Thai therapeutic tools.
Kelly specializes in massage for athletes, from the leisurely to the competitive to the professional. Her experience ranges from racing cyclists, triathletes, Ironman competitors, and Ultra runners; to dancers, weight lifters and Cirque du Soleil performers; and includes cross-state cycling road trips, exclusive training camps with George Hincapie, Christian Van de Velde, Craig Lewis and Cadel Evans at the Hotel Domestique, and CEO Challenges; as well as team camps and World Championships competition weeks with the Roger C Peace Paracycling Team.
Note to new clients : all levels of athlete are welcome, but be advised that Kelly specializes in deeper work. If your preferred style of massage is more relaxing with a lighter pressure, please look elsewhere.
To book a massage, either :
1. Text Kelly at 864.704.5605 (voicemails will not be answered as quickly).
2. Request an appointment time via the online scheduler on the MindBody page : go to the “Register” tab on this site, create a profile on the MindBody page, go to the “Private Sessions” tab, choose the style of massage and the day/time you prefer and submit a request. *Your request will need to be confirmed by the studio before it is booked.
3. Request an appointment time via the MindBody Connect app : find the studio on the app, on the home page tap the “Pricing” button, tap the “Appointments” tab to the right, choose the style of massage you need, then the duration of the massage you need, then the staff member (Kelly) to view the availability and submit a request. *Your request will need to be confirmed by the studio before it is booked.
massage client policies
Your appointment time has been reserved just for you. It is your responsibility to arrive on time. If you are late, that time will be deducted from the session time at full price.
24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment.
Out of fairness to all clients, a fee of $30 will be charged when cancelling or rescheduling any appointment with less than 24 hours notice.
If the client fails to arrive and does not give prior notice, they will be billed the full price of the treatment scheduled.
Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted for massages.
Please refrain from using any perfume or cologne before your massage.
